In 1956, the centenary of his entry into the Frs. Passionists of the young saint, the faithful of La Traversa, a hamlet of Campli, decided to erect a small chapel in S. Gabriele dell’Addolorata (1838-1862), patron saint of Abruzzo.
Thus they wanted to remember the "peregrinatio" of the saint's urn, which passed that year at the crossroads of Campli. It was inaugurated on November 3, 1963. It consists of a circular temple on columns and a dome; next to it, a small metal bell tower with a bell.
