Il Borgo dei Borghi 2021 (the village of villages)
“Il Borgo dei Borghi” is an exciting program on the ancient and precious historical-urban realities of the Bel Paese. The program, conducted by Camila Raznovich and now in its eighth edition, has selected 20 of the most beautiful villages in Italy, one for each Region, in order to assign at the end of an exciting challenge, the coveted title "The village of villages 2021 ". For Abruzzo, in 2021 the competing village was Campli, the city of the Scala Santa and a destination for lovers of art, culture, gastronomy and outdoor activities that can be practiced in the area of Monte Foltrone.
On November 14, the episode dedicated to Campli was broadcast on Rai 3 at 21:20. Subsequently, the contest took place which, through a voting system on the Rai portal, made it possible to elect the most beautiful village in Italy. In support of the Farnese village, various cultural and entertainment figures took to the field, including Vittorio Sgarbi, honorary citizen of Campli, and the conductor Enrico Melozzi.
