Paterno

The campleses hamlet of Paterno is characterized by remarkable buildings of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries with small shelves on the sides of the windows and gafi (pedestrian walkways) between some houses.

Important is the brick building of the Fidanza family. Interesting various farmhouses on the slopes, typical of the area, with shed or barn on the ground floor and a house on the upper floor. At the edge of the village the Church of S. Donato Vescovo. The etymology derives from the Latin adjective "paternus" (paternal) and would indicate a Roman predial "fund inherited from the father".
