Molviano is a small fraction of Campli divided into three villages: Molviano Superiore, Molviano Inferiore and Via Molviano (Via della Madonna). In the town there are two churches of historical and artistic interest: SS. Annunziata (17th century) and S. Giovanni Battista.
Molviano Superiore has a medieval appearance and features features of an ancient city wall. In the area there was the Benedictine monastery of S. Giovanni ad Mulvianum, now destroyed. In 1530 the Church of S. Giovanni di “Mulviano” was required to pay 2 “soldi” annually for the Easter professor (tribute due to the bishop) of the land of Campli. In 1718 there is news of the local Confraternita del Rosario.
