The modest inhabited area of Gagliano, a hamlet of Campli, includes some masonry buildings, with unworked stones and bricks bonded with mortar.
At times, on the sides of the windows you can see small bricks in bricks holding lamps. The toponym refers to a Roman predial (rustic background) from a proper name "Gallius".
Almost hidden among the houses is the Church of St. James the Apostle. There was also a chapel dedicated to St. Crisante (who has disappeared) which, according to documentation, in 1530 delivered the annual grain tax. Located in the Li Stupi district.
