Collicelli

Situated on the crest of a hill with a wide view over the valley below, the hamlet of Collicelli di Campli has a partly modern inhabited area.

It preserves numerous ancient buildings with stone and mortar walls, reinforced with brick, squared ashlars at the corners, wooden architraves and numerous gafi (pedestrian passageways) from the 16th century a palace with a small stone portal and the Bernardinian monogram (IHS) on the architrave.

Some houses of the eighteenth century show bricks on the sides of the windows.

At the end of the town the modest Parish Church of S. Gennaro. The toponym derives from "small hills" and refers to its geographical position.
