The inhabited area of the Campleses hamlet of Cesenà presents itself partly with a nineteenth-century aspect, partly modern. It still retains an interesting eighteenth-century house built in masonry in irregular stones and mortar; on the outside, staircase under the loggia on the façade, lamp-holder shelves on the sides of the windows and wooden architraves.
Etymology from "Cesenano", a place documented since 891. In 1527, following a plague epidemic, a small church dedicated to S. Rocco was erected, which has now disappeared.
The Parish Church of S. Lorenzo has medieval origins.
