Giacomo from Campli (15th century), painter. The works, attributed to him, are mostly collected in the Piceno province, he is distinguished by the mixture of elements of Abruzzeses and Umbrian culture similar to the fellow countryman Matteo from Campli (XV).


Francesco Brunetti (1605-1648), historian, doctor of law; he had census assignments and erudite researches of which he leaves some manuscripts; his relations with the Acquaviva d'Aragona family are also well known.


Giovanni Battista Boncori (1643-1699), an illustrious painter of Baroque Rome. From Campli, his hometown, he moved to Rome; he will first be Rector and then Prince of the Academy of San Luca; he was one of the best pupils of the Mola. His works are all over the world, in Campli, his hometown, he donates a canvas: The Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple.


Niccola Palma (1777-1840) was an Italian presbyter, historian and historian, fond of classical music and literature. He is considered “the greatest historian of the Province of Teramo”, thanks to his precious and powerful work, the ecclesiastical and civil history of the northernmost region of the Kingdom of Naples; for which it also receives recognition from outside the province. Primo Riccitelli (1875-1941), composer and musician, born in Cognoli di Campli. A pupil of Mascagni, Riccitelli is the author of  "I Compagnacci", an opera with which he has trodden the most important stages in the world, from the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, to the Metropolitan in New York and he is one of the most personalities that have given prestige to our territory.
